Led for the past decade by Samuel C. Stringfield,
the Systemic Supports for School Reform program within CRESPAR and
the CSOS has conducted over 20 research projects focused on various
school reform efforts. Besides projects funded through the Office
of Educational Research and Improvement (now the Institute of Education
Sciences) and the Office of Vocational and Adult Education within
the U.S. Department of Education, Systemic Supports has engaged
in numerous evaluation studies funded by groups such as the Walton
Family Trust, the Abell, MacArthur, and Spencer Foundations, the
Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and the College Board. Past
and current projects include Improving Education Practice Through
Data Use, CREDE, NRCCTE, the Special Strategies Studies, and World
Class Schools. Information about our projects and publications is
available from the menu at left.
