Dr. Frances L. Van Voorhis works with school and district leaders to implement and study the effects of the Teachers Involve Parents in Schoolwork (TIPS) Interactive Homework Process. She is the author of many research publications and practical materials on the homework process, teachers’ design of homework, and the effects of TIPS for students and parents. Her current projects include longitudinal studies of TIPS Math in the elementary grades, and TIPS Language Arts and TIPS Science in the middle grades. She also is the author of articles on the nature and effects of partnership program implementation in schools in NNPS.
