As a Senior Program Facilitator, Ms. Hutchins provides professional development to school, district, and state leaders for partnerships to help them build, evaluate, and sustain comprehensive partnership programs that positively impact student success. She is a main contact for NNPS members in the western half of the country. Ms. Hutchins was a teacher in the Baltimore City Public School System, where she developed and implemented successful family literacy workshops. She has a Master's of Science degree in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University and is pursuing her PhD in Education Policy at the University of Maryland-College Park. She is a co-author of Family Reading Night (2008, Eye on Education), which guides educators to develop effective literacy events.
