One state department of education, six districts, four schools, and two organizations are winners of the 2002 Partnership Awards from the National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University. The sites are recognized for excellence in developing and sustaining comprehensive programs of school, family, and community partnerships.
States, districts, organizations, and schools in the National Network of Partnership Schools respond to a Partnership Award application with detailed descriptions and clear evidence of well-designed programs that include "essential elements" of teamwork, leadership, plans for action, implementation, evaluation, and networking.
Winners receive a Partnership Award banner or plaque, one free registration to attend an NNPS National Leadership Conference, and national recognition for their work in the education media, the fall issue of Type 2, and the Network's website.
Congratulations to all winners of 2002 Partnership Awards! Click on a link below to learn more about each program.
