TIPS High School

The TIPS Interactive Homework process, manuals, and prototype activities on CD were developed and tested for math and science in the elementary grades (K-5), and for language arts, science, and math in the middle grades (6-8).

A few prototype activities were developed by high school educators who worked with NNPS on prior research projects. One TIPS interactive homework assignment for a high school class in U.S. Government is provided in this section as a sample.

If your district and high school(s) would like to work with NNPS to develop a TIPS Interactive Homework program to match your curriculum in one or more subjects and grade levels (e.g., TIPS for 9th grade English, pre-algebra or algebra, 10th grade science, social studies/history, family life), contact Dr. Joyce Epstein, Director of NNPS (jepstein@csos.jhu.edu), to discuss the requirements for TIPS program development.
